“We (BAT Iran) started working with Atieh Roshan Consulting (ARC) on recruitment projects when we first entered the Iranian market. We are also a regular subscriber to the Annual Compensation Survey done with Watson Wyatt each year. Recently ARC provided us (BAT Iran) with inter-cultural awareness and communication workshops. We found the workshop very useful as the programme gave us the real insight of what it takes to successfully working with Iranians. Our multicultural staff in BAT needed to be aware of the cultural differences of working with Iranians so that we could be more effective and culturally sensitive in our Iran based operation.
The workshop was interactive, informative and full of practical tips and suggestions of working with Iranians and understanding the Iranian psyche better. The group discussions were useful for participants to share inter-cultural scenarios with each other and learn from one another’s experiences in the Iranian context. This is a very useful program for multinational and multicultural organizations working in Iran.
